Custom Welcome Messages For Client Portals

Tired of the late-night “I lost the contract. Please send again.” emails? We have you covered.

With a 17hats Client Portal, each contact has a one-stop secure location to view and complete documents (Quote, Contracts, Invoices, and Questionnaires) and view event details. Not only can you say goodbye to those late-night emails, you can also further streamline communication with the use of the custom welcome message.

For the Portal, you can either set a global message or customize a message for each client. I am loving our new copy default message option, as it allows me to set a global message and then copy that message over to the contact’s individual Portal for me to customize.

Here are a few welcome message examples that do a great job streamlining communications: 

Dog walking example: 

Hello Marie! Welcome to your secure Client Portal. Here you can view and complete documents, view event information, and update personal information.  Please check to make sure that all your personal information, including phone numbers, is correct. If you find a mistake, please go ahead and make those changes. I look forward to seeing Max on our upcoming walk.

Photographer example:

Welcome to your personal and secure Client Portal. Here you will be able to view session details, as well as view and complete important documents such as quotes, contracts, invoices, and questionnaires.

As you can see, the welcome message is a great place to expand upon the Client Portal experience by adding links to a Dropbox, Google Folder, galleries, or websites. The link will stay handy in one location (just like your documents) which allows for a better all-around experience for your clients and no late night emails for you.
